Flowtechnology UK is Cyber Essentials Certified
Flowtechnology UK have taken the necessary precautions to reduce cyber attacks, and are now Cyber Essentials certified.
Cyber Essentials is a government backed cyber security scheme which aims to help organisations implement protection against cyber attack. It sets a baseline of cyber security suitable for all organisations in all sectors. The scheme addresses five key controls which when implemented correctly can prevent 80% of cyber attacks.
The five basic controls within Cyber Essentials include;
•Secure configurations
•Boundary firewalls and internet gateways
•Access controls and administrative privilege management
•Patch management
•Malware protection
When properly implemented, these controls will help to protect against internet based attackers using capabilities which are freely available on the internet.
