Christmas Jumper Day & Supporting Good Causes
Posted: 14/12/2020
On Friday we celebrated Christmas Jumper Day, with staff in the office and those working from home sporting their best (and in some cases, worst!) Christmas jumpers and transforming the office to look like the inside of Santa’s grotto, all with the aim of supporting two fantastic local charities.
On arrival in the office, every member of the team received chocolates, a strip of raffle tickets, a Christmas hat and a personalised checklist of the activities going on during the day. We also sent packs out to staff who were working from home, so that they could get involved with the festivities too.

In between looking after our customers, our festive jumper day activities included a Christmas quiz, won by our Productivity Analyst, Kelly Winstanley. A ‘Deck the Desks’ competition, which our Call Centre won for their amazing efforts - including over 100 hand- made paper snowflakes! A raffle for the staff, and even an enormous Domino’s pizza order for lunch!

As much fun as our day was, all of the festivities were in aid of raising donations for two local charities, Skem Stockings and The Birchwood Centre. Skem Stockings was founded by husband-and-wife team, Sam & David Garner. They teamed up with our charity partner, The Birchwood Centre, to help in the efforts of distributing Christmas presents to families in need in the local area. As you can see pictured below, our staff donated a huge number of gifts for kids and adults of all ages. We also raised a whopping £115 to donate to The Birchwood Centre.
We are truly amazed with the generosity and kindness of our staff, and we hope that these donations can help those families who need them most this Christmas. After such a tough year, everyone certainly deserves a great Christmas.
